Call for papers

Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering (CJChE) ( Monthly, ISSN 1004-9541) publishes original high-quality articles that cover the major advancements and achievements in chemical engineering in China as well as some articles from overseas contributors.  SCI Impact Factor of CJChE in 2018 is 1.91, and its Instant Impact Factor of 2019 is 2.4. CJChE will publish a Special Issue with the name of “Biocatalysis”. We kindly invite you to submit or recommend high quality papers to our journal considering your reputation and contributions to bioscience and bioengineering.

Scientific and technological advances have established biocatalysis as a practical and environmentally friendly alternative to the traditional chemical synthesis, offering many possibilities for the green chemical industry. The aim of this special issue is to publish high quality articles especially in the science and technology of biocatalysis.

The special issue focuses on the research and industrial aspects of biotechnology. Papers should have novelty in either method or application to be considered for publication. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to: chemical or genetic modification of biocatalysts, kinetics and thermodynamics of biocatalytic processes, novel biocatalysis cascade design and optimization, developments in biocatalyst's immobilization and industrial scale-up process.The full-paper submissions will undergo the normal peer review process and will be accepted by the same standard of a regular submission to CJChE.
