Abstract: Microbubbles have been widely used in the chemical industry in recent years due to their unique physical and chemical properties. This article provides an overview of the characteristics and main generation methods of microbubbles, including physical, chemical, mechanical, and microfluidic techniques. It also explores the applications of microbubbles in the chemical industry, such as gas-liquid reaction intensification, gas separation, mineral flotation, and preparation of high-performance polyolefin materials. By analyzing the current research status of microbubble technology, the future development direction of its application in the chemical industry is discussed.
